About
Hi there! I’m Charlie - a singer-songwriter, community musician, and therapeutic arts practitioner.
I am passionate about community engagement and lead music workshops that foster creativity and connect people across generations, from preschoolers to seniors. Through Music4Wellbeing, I facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals with dementia and Parkinson’s, using music to nurture mental, physical, and emotional health. My latest project, Sing from the Heart, is an intergenerational project where participants collaborated to write, record, and perform a song. The first iteration culminated in a large scale interactive live performance in Broadstairs last Autumn. We’ll be doing it all over again this year!
As a founding member of the power-pop band Itchy Teeth, I have toured Europe and the UK and released four albums. As a solo artist I have released five albums, created a range of videos and perform regularly. I have also worked as a session musician and film composer. For example, I played guitar and keyboards in Danny Boyle’s Yesterday as part of Himesh Patel’s backing band.
I hope you enjoy exploring my work in more detail on this site. Please feel free to get in touch if you’re interested in my work!
All the best x
